What is DHA?

DHA or docosahexaenoic acid is a type of fatty acid that belongs to the Omega-3 Group and is found in our bodies, with concentrated amounts in the brain, vascular system and the eye muscles. When the word DHA comes into mind, people often associate it as a benefit for our essential sensory organs. Without enough levels of DHA in the body, the optic and neural coordination could be compromised.
